- The announced release date is November 19, 2026. This is Rockstar's stated date; if it changes, we update the same day.
- Officially ConfirmedWhat platforms is GTA VI on?
- PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. No other platform has been announced.
- Officially ConfirmedWhere is GTA VI set?
- In Vice City and the wider fictional state of Leonida. Six regions have been named: Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga National Park.
- Officially ConfirmedWho are the main characters?
- Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos are the two leads. Six supporting characters have also been formally introduced: Cal Hampton, Boobie Ike, Dre'Quan Priest, Real Dimez, Raul Bautista and Brian Heder.
- Officially ConfirmedHow many trailers are there?
- Two official trailers have been released: Trailer 1 on December 4, 2023, and Trailer 2 on May 6, 2025. Both are embedded on our Trailers page from Rockstar's official YouTube channel.
- Officially ConfirmedWas Trailer 2 real gameplay?
- Rockstar states Trailer 2 was captured in-game on PlayStation 5 and contains a mixture of gameplay and cutscenes. Which specific sequences are playable has not been stated.

- A PC version has not been announced. Rockstar has released PC versions of previous mainline entries later, but precedent is not confirmation and we will not present it as one.

- Rockstar has described both as lead characters whose story depends on each other, but has not announced whether or how character switching works.
- UnverifiedHow big is the GTA VI map?
- Official details have not yet been confirmed. Every square-mileage figure currently circulating is unverified, including those presented confidently with imagery.
- UnverifiedWill there be a GTA Online successor?
- Online mode details have not been officially confirmed. Nothing has been announced about structure, timing, or whether existing GTA Online progress carries over.
- UnverifiedHow much will GTA VI cost?
- Pricing and edition details have not been announced for any platform or region.
